What We Do
12-Step facilitation groups
encourage lasting sobriety by engaging individuals in a 12-step recovery group. The program is similar to the general format of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA)meetings and other groups using 12-Step Programs.
Our clients grow in their recovery while building community with their peers. They learn to take responsibility for their actions and be a part of something bigger through the principles of a 12-Step Program.
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
is an impactful and efficient talk therapy. This form of psychotherapy works to adjust negative feelings and behaviors. It is flexible, versatile, and fast-acting to tackle specific issues in your journey. Sessions target your underlying thoughts, values, and beliefs contributing to substance abuse.
You and your therapist work collaboratively to address self-defeating behaviors and other roadblocks in recovery. It pinpoints the cravings and triggers that impact you. CBT instills the skills you need to deal with daily stress in healthy ways to avoid the risk of relapse.
Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT)
identifies your abilities and the unhelpful thoughts and behaviors holding back your recovery. DBT empowers you to regulate upsetting emotions, manage stressors, and communicate with others better.
DBT focuses on mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and your relationships with others. This therapy is beneficial for those struggling with addiction. You improve your strengths and overcome temptations by learning new skills and strategies.
Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR)
helps our clients process and overcome traumatic experiences. EMDR is an innovative therapy based on the idea that the brain stores unresolved traumatic which causes individuals to experience distress and symptoms years after the event.
EMDR involves a structured approach that includes identifying a specific memory. Using eye movements, rhythms, or taps, your EMDR therapist activates your brain’s natural healing processes. The brain reprocesses the memory minus the distress. This produces a more neutral response to move past the memory.
Family therapy

Group therapy

Holistic therapy

Rational emotive behavioral therapy (REBT)

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
is a goal-oriented approach that focuses on identifying and building on an individual’s existing resources and abilities to create positive change. These sessions are short-term, hence the reference to brief in the name. While they might be short-term, they produce a long-term impact on well-being.
Motivational Interviewing (MI)
is a collaborative, goal-focused therapy focused on change. MI therapy sessions are a non-judgemental and empowering space. MI increases your motivation to reflect on your goals and adjust certain behaviors.
Your therapist does this through a series of open-ended, guiding questions. You build trust with your therapist by exploring your perspectives, experiences, and values. You build your confidence through recalling past successes. MI reinforces your self-determination to continue making positive progress.
Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT)
empowers action through a blend of mindfulness concepts with acceptance strategies. The idea behind ACT is to opening the mind of individuals to explore and improve their mental and emotional agility. It helps to avoid making hasty or risky choices.

Life coaching
is a one-on-one collaborative exchange between you and your coach. This form of results-oriented support and guidance is provided to our clients. Our life coaches work with you to set practical goals and how to reach these. Therapists and counselors focus on addressing the psychological aspects of addiction and mental illness, our life coaches focus on strategies to support rebuilding your life.
Recovery coaching
is a form of peer-to-peer support. Our professional recovery coaches have ample “lived experience” in addiction and recovery. They relate to your struggles and offer hope, strength, and guidance.
Sobriety coaches provide a unique perspective to give you structure and accountability to maintain sobriety. This is especially beneficial in early recovery. Having someone on the sidelines cheering you on the path to a fulfilling recovery is why we do what we do.
