T.R.U.E. Addiction & Behavioral Health

If you have been through treatment before and watched it fall apart, you are not looking for another program. You are trying to figure out whether anything could actually be different this time. That is the right question, and we will answer it honestly.

Rehab Centers Near Me Tennessee TRUE

Substance Use and Mental Health Treatment in Murfreesboro, Tennessee

Here is what most people learn too late. The problem was never that you did not want it badly enough. Addiction stopped being a willpower problem the moment it rewired how your brain handles stress, pain, and relief. That is not an excuse, and we are not handing you one. It is the reason white-knuckling it has never held for you, and the reason a program built only on rules and consequences was never going to work.

We built T.R.U.E. around what actually changes people. Honest relationships, real clinical work, and treatment that goes after the substance and the reasons underneath it at the same time. We are direct with you from the first phone call, because you have had more than enough people tell you what you wanted to hear.

What You Will Not Find Here Is Someone Trying to Fill a Bed

Call ten treatment centers and nine of them will tell you to come in today, before they know a single thing about you. That is not care. That is a sales floor. We do the opposite. Before we admit anyone, we have a real conversation about what you are facing and whether we are equipped to treat it. If we are not, we tell you, and we point you toward who is.

That costs us admissions. We do it anyway, because a program that takes everyone helps almost no one. The people who get well here are the ones we were honestly built to help, and we would rather be the right answer for them than the convenient answer for everyone.

T.R.U.E. Stands For

T

Transforming

R

Roots

U

Unto

E

Eternity

Symptoms are the surface. Recovery that lasts comes from reaching the root, the pain or the pattern the substance was managing, and building a life with enough purpose in it that you no longer need the escape. We are faith-informed and we welcome people of every belief and none. You will never be preached at here. You will be told the truth.

You Do Not Need a Program. You Need the Right One.

The mistake people make is shopping for a facility. What actually matters is matching the level of care to where you truly are, and being able to change that level as you change, without getting discharged to a stranger and starting over. That is what a full continuum gives you. You enter where you need to, and you step down as you get stronger, with the same team that already knows your story. Here is what each level is actually for.

01

The most structure we offer short of a hospital bed. Full clinical days for people stabilizing after a crisis or a relapse who need serious support fast but have a safe place to sleep at night.

03

The stage most programs treat as an afterthought, which is exactly when people relapse. Steady support as you carry recovery back into an ordinary week.

05

For the very common case where a substance and a mental health condition are feeding each other, and treating one has never fixed the other.

07

Trauma-informed care for people carrying things most civilian programs are not built to understand.

02

Real treatment several days a week for people who cannot put their lives on hold but know that once a week will not touch this.

04

For when the issue is not detox, it is that home is not a place you can get well. A safe, supported setting to stabilize a mental health crisis.

06

Structured housing for the stretch when the treatment worked and the old apartment is what threatens to undo it.

You are not the most complicated case we have seen.

People arrive convinced their situation is uniquely bad. Too tangled, too far gone, too strange to say out loud. It almost never is. What looks like a single problem, the drinking, the pills, the anxiety that will not quit, is usually two or three things wound together, and the reason past treatment did not hold is that someone treated one strand and sent you home with the rest still knotted.

We treat the whole knot. A wide range of substances, a full range of mental and behavioral health conditions, and the overlap between them, which for most of the people we serve is not a complication. It is the entire point.

T.R.U.E. Stands For

The Difference Between Talking and Treatment

Plenty of programs will put you in a circle of chairs and call it therapy. Sitting in a room talking about your feelings is not the same as clinical work that changes how your brain answers a craving, a memory, or a bad night.

Our clinicians are trained in the approaches that have real evidence behind them, and they choose among them based on the person in front of them instead of running everyone through the same curriculum.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Interrupt the thoughts that drive the behavior.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy

For emotions that run too hot to manage.

EMDR

For trauma that was never processed and keeps setting everything else off.

Motivational Interviewing

For the part of you that is not yet sure it wants to change.

Family Therapy

Because the people around you shape whether this holds.

Recovery & Life Coaching

Building an actual life once the crisis is over.

Why People Stay Long Enough for It to Work

01

Admissions who understand

The first person you talk to here is our admissions director, also an interventionist. He’s sat in living rooms with families on the worst day of their lives, and understands what you’re describing before you finish.

02

The same team, the whole way

You’re never passed between clinicians who quietly contradict each other about your care. The person who does your intake is the person who knows your story in week six.

03

Honest, the whole way

We’ll tell you when you’re avoiding something. We’ll tell you when you’re doing better than you think. Being genuinely known and told the truth is what every program before this one was missing.

The Man Who Walked In Facing Eight Years

He came to us looking at an eight-year sentence. The court gave him one last chance at treatment instead, and nearly everyone in his life had already quietly written him off, including him. Today he has more than two years sober. He finished his Associate’s degree. And he is on staff here now, which means the person who greets you when you arrive once stood exactly where you are standing.

We do not tell his story as a promise, because any program that guarantees you an outcome is lying to you. We tell it because it is proof of what becomes possible when someone finally reaches the root and does the work with the right people beside them. What we can promise is the same honest shot we gave him.

I've been to treatment 4 times & this is BY FAR the best as far as classes, employees, housing and therapy. All the girls at the house are wonderful, if someone is removed, they absolutely deserved it for repeated disruptive behavior. They helped me get food stamps quickly even though they provide so many groceries. They also provide self-care items, towels, bedding, etc. I wish all addicts could come here! Jacqueline is my therapist and I highly recommend! As far as meds, you truly have to be your own advocate! I ran out of mental health meds FIVE times. Unacceptable. You'll notice ALL negative reviews are about her.

TRUE Addiction & Behavioral Health’s women’s program gave me a place where I finally felt safe enough to be honest about what I was going through. Before treatment, I was struggling with depression, anxiety, and the pressure of trying to hold everything together while quietly falling apart inside. What made the women’s program so meaningful was the support and understanding I felt from the staff and the other women in treatment. I didn’t feel judged, dismissed, or rushed. I felt heard. The clinical team helped me work through the emotions, stress, and patterns that had been affecting my mental health for years. The program gave me structure, accountability, and practical tools I could actually use in my daily life. I learned how to set boundaries, manage anxiety, talk about my depression, and stop feeling ashamed for needing help. Being surrounded by other women who understood the struggle made a huge difference. TRUE helped me rebuild my confidence and remember that I am more than what I have been through. I left with hope, strength, and a better understanding of myself. I would highly recommend TRUE’s women’s program to any woman who is struggling with mental health, addiction, trauma, or simply feeling like she cannot keep carrying everything alone.

I came to TRUE Addiction & Behavioral Health during one of the hardest seasons of my life. I had been struggling with depression and anxiety for a long time, and it felt like I was constantly fighting just to get through the day. I was overwhelmed, exhausted, and unsure if treatment would actually help me. From the moment I started TRUE’s mental health treatment program, I felt seen and understood. The staff treated me with respect, patience, and compassion. They didn’t make me feel judged or broken. They helped me understand what I was going through and gave me real tools to manage my anxiety, work through my depression, and start building healthier habits. The therapists and clinical team were professional, supportive, and genuinely invested in my progress. I learned how to recognize my triggers, communicate better, and take care of myself in ways I had ignored for years. It wasn’t always easy, but I never felt like I had to go through it alone. TRUE gave me hope when I didn’t have much left. I’m in a much better place today because of the care, structure, and encouragement I received there. I would highly recommend TRUE Addiction & Behavioral Health to anyone struggling with depression, anxiety, or mental health challenges who is ready to get help and make a real change.

TRUE addiction really cares about the people they help. They care about recovery instead of getting paid unlike other programs I've been to. I definitely recommend this place over anywhere else I've been. Thank you TRUE for actually caring about people in recovery.

Very good teachers, very nice homes, food is provided, warm beds, nice showers, it's a good place to go especially if you've never been to a rehab. The staff all cares. That's important to recovery, try it out. You won't regret it.
